House Rules
Exclusive In-House Catering
Monona Catering is our exclusive in-house caterer and provides all food and beverage. No outside catering allowed.
Wedding Cake Exception
A tiered wedding cake with matching sheet cakes may be provided through a Wisconsin licensed bakery.
Rooftop Music End Time
DJ or band may play music on the rooftop; however, the music must end by 9pm.
No Outside Food
No outside food and beverage may be brought into Monona Terrace. Monona Catering offers packages for changing-room consumption.
AV Rental Required
Audiovisual equipment for slideshows or room lighting must be rented through Monona Terrace and cannot be provided by your band or DJ.
Rooftop Tents
Due to unique tile architecture, rented rooftop tents can only be secured with weights. Monona Terrace offers 10x10 tents for rent.
Food and Beverage Credit
Spending on food and beverage (including bars) reduces your room rental fee. Two-room rentals get sequential reductions.
Drones
Drones are allowed outside on the rooftop if criteria are met and an application form is completed in advance.
