House Rules
In-house catering only
All food and beverage must be provided by the Mission Ranch Banquet Department. Outside food and drink are not permitted. Wedding cakes and desserts from a commercial kitchen are the only exception.
In-house bar only (wine/champagne corkage available)
Mission Ranch provides all beverages. Outside wine and champagne are accepted at $25 per 750 ml bottle plus 22% service charge and tax; bottles must be delivered the day prior and served by Mission Ranch staff. No outside spirits or beer.
10 PM event end
All functions must end by 10 PM. Standard rental covers a 5-hour event window; an additional half-hour can be added for a $500 fee.
Florals must come from the approved vendor list
Any flowers, candles, centerpieces, and table decor must be provided and coordinated by one of Mission Ranch's Approved Florists. No exceptions.
No sparklers, fireworks, or balloons
Sparklers and fireworks are prohibited by Carmel ordinance. Balloons are not allowed as decor. Bubbles are permitted on the lawn area only.
No animals
Due to the resident sheep herd, animals are not permitted on the property, inside or outside the barns.
No shots; strict alcohol service
Shots of alcohol are not served. Bar closes 15 minutes before event end and barns must be vacated 30 minutes after end. ID required for anyone appearing 30 or under.
Vendor liability insurance required
All entertainers performing at Mission Ranch must carry general liability insurance and provide written proof prior to the event.
Volume control reserved by venue
If music interferes with hotel guests or local residents, Mission Ranch reserves the right to control the volume.
Hotel block capped at 10 rooms
Mission Ranch will not allow a full property buyout and accommodates a maximum 10-room block.
