House Rules
Curfew
Events must end at 11:30pm unless prior approval is granted by the War Memorial.
Approved Caterers
Only licensed and insured caterers from the approved list may provide food and beverage service.
No Amplified Bands
Bands with amplification are not permitted, and doors must remain closed whenever music or entertainment is occurring.
No Smoking
Smoking is prohibited by law inside the Veterans Building, including the Green Room loggia.
Candle Permits
Candleholders must meet San Francisco Fire Code, and flame candles require a fire permit and advance approval.
Prohibited Items
No fog or smoke machines, balloons, birdseed, rice, confetti, glitter, or loose flower petals, and no tape, staples, tacks, or nails.
No On-Site Parking
No parking is available on the premises; a limited white zone on Van Ness Avenue is for loading only.
