House Rules
Max Capacity
Capacity is up to 350 guests for seated meals.
5-Hour Event Time
Includes 5 hours exclusive event time with no overlapping events, plus 5 hours of pre-event access and 1 hour of cleanup.
Ceremony Chairs Included
Includes ceremony chairs for up to 300 guests and a 1-hour rehearsal prior to the wedding.
Tables and Place Settings
Includes 60-inch round dinner tables, ivory or crushed velvet olive linens, white china, glassware, and silver flatware.
In-House Catering Required
Clients are required to use on-site catering, with quarterly tastings including 10-15 food selections.
In-House Bar Required
Barr Mansion has a full liquor license and provides all alcohol with TABC-certified bartenders, outside alcohol is not permitted.
Outside Coordinator Required
An outside coordinator from the approved list is required with at least a 90-day planning package.
Saturday Curfew
For Saturday events, music and alcohol service must end by 1am, and for Weekday, Friday, and Sunday events by 12am.
Decor Restrictions
Sky lanterns, confetti, silly string, birdseed, rice, and silk petals are prohibited, and all candles must be enclosed.
Deposit
A signed contract and $7,000 deposit are required to secure a date.
