Restrictions & Rules

House Rules
Wedding Minimum
Weddings require an eight-hour minimum booking that must include set-up and clean-up time.
Curfew
Per town bylaw there can be no undue noise after 11:00 pm, and the auditorium closes at midnight unless special arrangements are made.
Bar Service
All alcohol must be served by a hired certified bartender, and bar service must close one half-hour before the end of the event.
Liquor Insurance
Serving alcohol requires liquor liability insurance of $1,000,000 naming the Town as additional insured, filed two weeks in advance.
Candles and Fire
Only battery-operated candles are allowed, torches are not permitted on the grounds, and the building is smoke free.
Decor
Nails and tape must not be used on the walls or woodwork, and decorative plans must be confirmed with the event coordinator.
Coordinator Meeting
You and your caterer must meet with the event coordinator one to two months before the event to confirm insurance, permits, and logistics.
